When Encole first got in touch, they were ready to make some big changes. They wanted to launch a digital shop and improve their website performance, but they were also overwhelmed. As someone who isn’t overly techie (their words, not mine), they didn’t know what needed fixing or where to even start.
They’d also worked with service providers in the past who hadn’t taken the time to understand their business, which stung, because their industry is complex, regulated, and definitely not something you can just “wing”.
By the time they came to me, they didn’t just want a website rebuild. They wanted someone who would actually listen, explain things, and make the whole process feel clear instead of chaotic.
So, before changing anything, I dug into their existing setup and…
A few things jumped out straight away:
- Google was barely picking the site up. There were only 4 keywords showing in Search Console.
- Their services were all grouped together, with no individual pages
- They didn’t have a digital shop in place yet.
- No lead magnets, no email list, and nothing in place to capture warm traffic.
- There were no sitelinks, which usually means Google can’t understand how the website is structured.
- And behind the scenes, there wasn’t much internal linking happening, which makes it harder for Google to crawl and rank a site properly.
How We Rebuilt the Website
Once we uncovered what was holding them back, it was time to rebuild the site in a way that actually reflected how Encole works.
This wasn’t just about making the site “prettier”.
Every change had a job to do: help Google understand the site, help visitors find what they need, and give Encole a system that could finally sell and scale.
Here’s what we put in place:
A clearer, more modern website design
We rebuilt the layout from scratch, simplified the navigation and updated the branding so everything felt aligned, current and easy to understand.
The goal was to help people land on the site and instantly get:
- who Encole are
- what they offer
- and how to take the next step
A more intuitive structure also makes Google’s job easier, which is a win on every level.
Dedicated service pages for each service
Before we started, all their ISO services were sitting together on one page.
This makes it almost impossible for Google to rank them for anything specific, because there isn’t enough focused content.
By creating individual service pages for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, we gave each service:
- its own content
- its own keywords
- its own structure
- and its own ranking potential
This shift alone is one of the biggest reasons their search visibility exploded so quickly.
A fully built digital shop
Encole had products, templates and training sessions ready to go, they just didn’t have a place to sell them.

We built a digital shop that could handle:
- instant purchases
- downloadable products
- live and online training bookings
This created a brand-new income stream overnight and meant they could finally sell without doing everything manually.
Lead magnets + automated email sequences
With traffic starting to grow, we needed a way to capture the people landing on the site.

So we created:
- three targeted lead magnets
- signup forms
- automated delivery emails
- follow-up sequences inside MailerLite
This meant that instead of visitors coming and going anonymously, Encole could actually build a list of warm leads and stay in touch with them.
SEO-Focused Blog Content
To support their long-term visibility and help grow their email list, we also created a series of keyword-focused blog posts to bring in the right traffic and send readers straight into their lead magnet funnel.
These weren’t generic “blog for the sake of blogging” posts. Each one was intentionally designed to:
- target high-intent, relevant keywords
- increase organic traffic to their new service pages
- build topical authority around their ISO expertise
- give Google more high-quality content to index
- position Encole as the go-to source for regulated, complex compliance guidance
- naturally funnel readers into signing up for their lead magnet
A stronger internal linking strategy
This is one of the most undervalued parts of SEO, but it’s also one of the most powerful.
Their old site didn’t have much internal linking, which meant Google couldn’t understand how pages related to each other.
By restructuring the navigation and linking related pages together, we essentially handed Google a roadmap, and this is exactly why sitelinks appeared for the first time.
Rebuilding all SEO foundations
Finally, we fixed all the bits people don’t see, but Google definitely notices, like:
- metadata
- header hierarchy
- URL structure
- site architecture
- alt text
- page-level optimisation
Nothing glamorous, but absolutely essential.
All of this combined gave the site the technical strength it needed to actually rank.
The Results
Once the new site went live, the improvements were immediate.

Massive Increase in Search Visibility
Before: 4 keywords.
Two weeks after launch: 200+ keywords.
A 4,900% increase in visibility.
Their core pages (consultancy, audit support, training) also started ranking properly for the first time thanks to their new structure.
First-month performance:
- 8,800 impressions
- 452 clicks
- 5.1% CTR
- Average position: 17.7
A Fully Launched Digital Shop (and a New Income Stream)
Their shop now provides an easy, professional way to sell:
- toolkits
- templates
- training sessions
It’s ready to generate passive income as traffic continues to grow.
Email List Growth from Zero
Before the rebuild, Encole didn’t have an email list.
With new lead magnets and automated sequences added, they gained 11 subscribers in the first week – a 1,100% increase and a strong start for ongoing lead generation.
Stronger Site Structure = Immediate Authority Boost
Once the navigation and internal linking improved, Google finally understood their site hierarchy.
The clearest sign?
Sitelinks appeared for the first time, which only happens when Google trusts and clearly understands a website.
